About Us
Beginning:
Our vision is rooted in the principles reflected in our mission statement that we reach out to others as witnesses for Christ and make new disciples – to win different people to Christ, recover then, and save their souls through educating their children. We started in September, 2023 with 43 Children in the first trimester but many of them drop out school because of their income, second trimester we started with 25 now we are remaining with 21; 20 of them are in the baby class and 1 in the middle class, that where came from ideas to search funds for them to enable us to continue our mission, because we have different challenges like paying teachers and paying rent.
Our Goal
Develop social skills, promoting cognitive development and to provide a happy, safe and caring environment for all children through play and teachings. To encourage children to be confident learners; the basis of a stepping stone to progressing towards mainstream schooling.
Our Story
Our story
Strategically, is to operate as a hybrid group with both attraction and mission components to maximize our exposure to the lost and win more disciples for Christ. Reach to the children as we educate them; give us access to reach to their parent as well hope to change this society. We started as small but we hope God will use us in this nation to change vulnerable people through their Children.
Later we will acquire land and build new environment that the Lord will provide in the future. We will maintain our legacy as a modern. As we learn how to implement the mission model, through this hybrid approach, we hope to open the door for new relationships.
We are maintaining a strong sense of partnership with local communities. We will routinely meet new people, meeting them where they are – from those their kids had been drop out schools.
ICYIZERE ECD is leading many people to Jesus and to active discipleship while meeting needs of the poor and the lost. This school will much help to meet them.
We are planning to provide organized programs of playing activities and simple instructions for children who are too young to enter public first grade schools and train volunteers’ teachers.
